ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

In anticipation of the expiration of the current contract for landscaping services for Zones 1, 2, 3, and 6, a request for proposal was issued.  A total of thirty-nine (39) proposals were downloaded from Bonfire.  Five (5) proposals were received and opened on October 26, 2023.  After evaluation, it was determined that Southlake Landscaping Maintenance, Inc., offered the best value for the City.  Funding is available for this contract through the Park Operations General Fund, Public Services Utility Fund, Water Ridge PID, and Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone 4.

RECOMMENDATION:

That the City Council approve the award and authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the contract as set forth in the caption above.
