ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

 

City Council approved $50,000 for Backbone Support for Fiscal Year 2024. Backbone Support funding is a collective impact effort that aligns individual entities through communication, collaboration, and innovation in order to strategically accomplish system level improvements in their network of expertise. The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Advisory Committee recommended an award of $25,000 to Serve Lewisville to support certain functions of the Operations Director position. The primary purpose of the Operations Director position is to lease office space and provide administrative support to Agency-board-approved nonprofit organizations whose services based out of the Serve Lewisville location will be predominantly serving Lewisville residents.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the City Council approve the resolution as set forth in the caption above.
