ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

 

As part of the 2023-24 budget, based on a recommendation in the Public Art Master Plan for including works of public art at city facilities, City Council approved an artwork being commissioned for installation inside the Public Library. The Arts Advisory Board received 241 submissions and conducted a series of evaluations and interviews that culminated with the selection of artist Michele Gutlove, owner of Design Studio GH, LLC, to complete the project.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the City Council approve the agreement as set forth in the caption above and authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to sign the agreement.
