ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
The owners of 1353 Utica Lane desire to construct a backyard cottage that meets all supplemental standards in the Unified Development Code. Since the property is zoned Single-Family Residential (6,000 Square-Foot Lot) District (R-6), a special use permit is required. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended unanimous approval (6-0) of this request on July 16, 2024.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the ordinance as set forth in the caption above.
