ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
Staff will provide a presentation that includes the following: Submission of the Preliminary Budget Document; Discussion of the Budget Process and an Overview of Guidelines; Discussion and Overview of Funds; Discussion of Base Budget by City Council Priority and Strategic Focus Area; Discussion and Recommendation for Unfunded Items; Discussion of Tax Rate Information; and Discussion of Water, Sewer, and Stormwater Rate Information.
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council approve, for discussion at the upcoming public hearing, the City Manager's Preliminary Budget, as presented and amended, which includes consideration of the proposed tax rate, an increase in water and sewer rates, an increase in the stormwater drainage utility charge for single-family residential properties; and an increase in the stormwater drainage utility charge for non-single-family residential properties.
