ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

The DCLID Trail project will be the first Parks and Recreation project funded through Bond 2024 proceeds and will help bridge a significant gap in the City’s goal to have a quality park within a 10-minute walk of every resident’s front door. The scope of the proposed agreement includes engineering design of a mixed-use trail from schematic drawings through final design. Additionally, the consultant will assist the City with survey requirements, bidding services, environmental requirements, construction phase services and provide record drawings upon completion of the project.  Halff will require twelve (12) months for design and estimates six (6) months for construction oversight.

RECOMMENDATION:

That the City Council approve the agreement and authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the agreement as set forth in the caption above.
