ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

An interlocal agreement between the City of Lewisville and the City of Coppell was executed on December 10, 2019 regarding the Feathersmash indoor badminton development, located on a property within both cities. The developer would like to add outdoor courts on an adjacent 0.98-acre tract of land within the City of Lewisville and use the City of Coppell’s sanitary sewer since no sewer connection is available in Lewisville. This requires an amendment to the original Planning and Interlocal Agreement. The Feathersmash expansion will also require the approval of a special use permit (SUP) to allow the use of Commercial Amusement (Outdoor) on the site. This SUP will be brought forward to City Council pending the approval of this amendment.

RECOMMENDATION:

That the City Council approve the amendment as set forth in the caption above.
