ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

 

The proposed resolution designates and names city-owned properties as public parks and trails to improve residents’ access within a 10-minute walk of their residence.  The Parks and Recreation Department proposes to dedicate and name two parks and two trails via City Council Resolution to meet facility naming protocols and to ensure residents are aware the properties are public parks and trails, and available for their enjoyment and use. 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the City Council approve the resolution as set forth in the caption above.
