Approval of a Professional Services Agreement with OCMI, Inc., Richardson, TX, in the Amount of $361,991.05 for Project Control Services for the Midway Branch Lift Station Project; and Authorization for the City Manager, or Her Designee, to Execute the Agreement.

ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
The Midway Branch Lift Station will be a new facility designed to handle 13 million gallons per day (MGD) of wastewater. Both the 2011 and 2018 Collection System Master Plans identified the need for an additional lift station to accommodate the growing wastewater flows from the expanding eastern area of the city. The studies determined that the optimal location for this new lift station is within the Midway Branch sewer basin. OCMI, Inc. will act as the city's representative, providing Project Control services. This includes overseeing daily construction activities, tracking project progress, managing the schedule, addressing RFIs and change orders, reviewing pay applications, and supporting project close-out. With extensive expertise in pre-construction, construction, and cost management, OCMI has a proven track record of successful collaborations with cities nationwide, including its current involvement with the City of Lewisville on the PCWWTP Aeration Basin Expansion Project. Funding is available in Midway Branch Lift Station/Force Main capital project.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the agreement and authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the agreement as set forth in the caption above.
