ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

 

These Unified Development Code text amendments add and modify supplemental standards to allow for unmanned aircraft systems, make backyard cottage regulations more flexible, clarify relief procedures for all supplemental standards, add definitions, update the use charts, update standards to comply with state statutes, and clarify engineering site plan requirements.  The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended unanimous approval (7-0) on August 18, 2026.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the City Council approve the ordinance as set forth in the caption above.
