ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

 

The City of The Colony proposes to construct a traffic signal at the intersection of Standridge Drive, Lakeridge Drive and Memorial Drive. The subject intersection straddles the city limits line between Lewisville and The Colony with the west side of the intersection inside the Lewisville city limits. The proposed traffic signal will have components located in both The Colony and within the City of Lewisville, thus the need for the subject agreement to formalize each city’s obligations. The Colony is prepared to advertise for construction bids once the agreement between the two cities is approved.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the City Council approve the amended agreement and authorize the Mayor or his designee to execute the agreement as set forth in the caption above.
