ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

 

City staff recently discovered severe erosion has occurred along Timber Creek adjacent to Timber Creek Trail just east of Kenny Court.  Timber Creek has a history of erosion issues, and the City has completed several projects to protect properties along its streambank since 2007. Staff has concerns that continued erosion along this stretch of Timber Creek will destabilize the Timber Creek Trail.  Staff has selected Halff & Associates to prepare a preliminary design for the streambank stabilization and trail realignment. 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the City Council approve the agreement and authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the agreement as set forth in the caption above.
