ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
Resolution No. 0759-25-RES was approved by the City Council on May 14, 2025 to call a runoff election for June 7, 2025 to elect a City Council Member Place No. 4 to a full three-year term, to provide for early voting and for notice of a runoff election, and to provide for other matters relating to the runoff election. Section 7 of the resolution provided locations for early voting for Dallas County residents. On May 15, 2025, after the resolution was passed, staff was notified by Dallas County Elections that the CORE Recreation Center located at 234 E. Parkway Blvd, Coppell, Texas 75019 was no longer available for early voting. Since the CORE Recreation Center was listed as an early voting location in the resolution, an amendment to the resolution is necessary to remove this location.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the resolution as set forth in the caption above.
