ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

 

The Backroom Tea Lounge, an afternoon tea concept, has been operating as a home occupation on this site since May 2025. The rezone request would allow for the continued operation of the tea lounge as a standalone, by-right use. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended unanimous approval (5-0) on September 22, 2026.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the City Council approve the ordinance as set forth in the caption above.
