ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

 

Authorization is requested to submit a grant application to the Texas Office of the Governor’s Homeland Security Grants Division under the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP), and designate the Fire Chief or his designee to accept, reject, alter, or terminate the grant, if awarded. The proposed application seeks $37,500 to modernize and replace aging equipment within the City of Lewisville’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Support Unit, commonly referred to as the EOC in-a-box.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the City Council approve the resolution as set forth in the caption above.
