ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
The City of Lewisville owns and operates the Whippoorwill Lift Station and associated sanitary sewer line located north of Garden Ridge Boulevard near Lewisville Lake. Portions of these facilities are located on property under the control of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). USACE has prepared Easement and Consent No. DACW63-2-26-0543 to replace the City's existing easement and allow for the continued operation, maintenance, and repair of the sanitary sewer line and lift station. The new easement is for a term of fifty (50) years, beginning August 16, 2026, and ending August 15, 2076.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the Easement and Consent and authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the Easement and Consent as set forth in the caption above.
