Public Hearing: Consider the Adoption of the Lewisville 2025 Vision Plan Update.

ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
In 2014, the City adopted the Lewisville 2025 Plan, which has since provided direction for a multitude of decisions across the organization and the community, and which has resulted in success on many fronts. The process to update the plan began in the fall of 2019 with an extensive community involvement effort. Through 2020, City staff and the plan consultant reviewed and analyzed community feedback and held multiple online discussions to identify needed changes and additions to the original plan. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended unanimous approval (5-0) of the final draft on April 6, 2021. The Lewisville 2025 Advisory Community recommended unanimous approval of the final draft on April 8, 2021 and the Parks Board recommended unanimous approval on April 14, 2021. The Library Board will receive a briefing on the final draft on April 21, 2021.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council adopt the Lewisville 2025 Vision Plan Update as set forth in the caption above.
