ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

 

A total of thirty-four (34) requests for proposals were downloaded from Bidsync.com.  One (1) proposal was received and opened on August 8, 2019.  This project consists of installation of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems in the buildings along Main Street, between Mill and N. Charles.  The scope of the project will include providing fire protection to 27 buildings totaling approximately 80,000 square feet. Funding is available in the Old Town Fire Sprinkler System capital project.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the City Council approve the award as set forth in the caption above; and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract.
