ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
The project consists of the reconstruction of South Kealy Avenue, Phase 2, from Mill Street to Purnell Street. Staff negotiated a Professional Services Agreement with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. to include paving, underground storm drainage improvements, sanitary sewer replacement, water main improvements, pavement markings, signage, traffic control, erosion control, and associated infrastructure. The negotiated fee is within the accepted range for the type and size of project. Funding is available in the South Kealy Ave capital project.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the agreement and authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the agreement as set forth in the caption above.
