ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
Timely and efficient clearance and removal of disaster-generated debris is an important component of the City’s emergency preparedness and recovery efforts. Having contracts in place for disaster debris clearance, removal and management services will allow a timely response to a natural disaster or other emergency event. A total of eleven (11) proposals were received and opened on May 12, 2026. Based on the evaluation matrix included in the request for proposals, primary, secondary, and tertiary awards are recommended as the best value to the City. It is anticipated that any future costs from leveraging these recovery services would come from the risk fund.
RECOMMENDATION:
That City Council approve the awards and authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the contracts as set forth in the caption above.
