ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
Renovations at Lewisville Rodeo Arena will be completed by the end of the year. PBR Lewisville will be held on Saturday, September 18th, and will be the first rodeo event at the facility since September 2018. Staff proposes re-naming the arena in honor of former Mayor Bill Weaver in recognition of his contributions to the city and to the arena.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the resolution as set forth in the caption above.
