ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

The Office of Emergency Management received notice from the Texas Office of the Governor’s Homeland Security Grants Division that the City of Lewisville has been awarded a grant in the amount of $21,000 to purchase a Variable Message Board. This grant is part of the State’s ongoing investment in enhancing local and regional capabilities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from terrorism-related incidents and other large-scale emergencies.

RECOMMENDATION:

That the City Council approve the resolution as set forth in the caption above.
