ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:

 

The City of Lewisville has allocated $240,000 in City funds for the Social Service Grant Funds program for FY 2026-2027 to support the direct services nonprofit entities provide to Lewisville residents. Agreements have been prepared for each of the nonprofit entities receiving City Social Service Grant Funds. The CDBG Advisory Committee reviewed and scored all nonprofit applications that were submitted in March 2026, after which the Committee recommended awards and allocations. City Social Service Grant Funds were not included with the Annual Action Plan as they are separate from CDBG funds and are now being presented for approval.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

 

That the City Council approve the resolution as set forth in the caption above.
