Approval of Revised Policy Statement 2.0, Human Resources - Section XIV - Tuition Reimbursement

ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
This Policy Statement outlines the employees eligible for Tuition Reimbursement and the maximum allowable each fiscal year. The proposed revision increases the maximum tuition reimbursement available to eligible employees from $1,500 to $3,000 per fiscal year effective October 1, 2026. The increase, which was discussed with City Council during the July 6, 2026, workshop, updates a reimbursement cap that has remained unchanged for 10 years.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the revised Policy Statement as set forth in the caption above.
