ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
The City of Lewisville is eligible for a Texas Department of Transportation grant in the amount of $110,974.12. The City will receive $79,305 in grant funds and the City's portion is $31,669.12. The grant provides funding for enhanced enforcement efforts directed at multiple traffic offenses including DWIs. The match is included in the proposed FY 2018-2019 budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the grant as set forth in the caption above; and authorize the City Manager, or her designee, to execute the agreement.
