ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
The City of Lewisville is eligible to receive a grant award of $8,277.64 provided by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The program is intended to increase effective enforcement and adjudication of traffic safety-related laws to reduce fatal and serious injury crashes and to reduce the number of DWI-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities. The grant funds 80% of the program cost.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the grant as set forth in the caption above; and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement.
