Approval of an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with the Denton County Transportation Authority for Maintaining the A-Train Rail Trail within the Lewisville City Limits; and Authorization for the City Manager to Execute the Agreement.

ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS:
The Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) has recently completed construction of the final segment of the A-Train Rail Trail along the DCTA Corridor in Lewisville. During planning and design of the trail, DCTA was incentivized to proceed with construction of the trail with the promise of an agreement with the City to operate and maintain the segment of the trail within the city limits. The proposed agreement establishes the terms and responsibilities for maintaining the trail.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve the agreement as set forth in the caption above; and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement.
